Privacy policy

What Rowpost reads on your screen

On QuickBooks Online banking pages, Rowpost reads the rows of the For review table (description, payee, amount, current category and the row's buttons) so it can show suggestions and perform the actions you ask for. This information is processed on your device only. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.

What is stored on your device

Rowpost stores your smart rules, a small vendor-to-category memory built from categorizations you make, an action history used for the undo list, usage counters, your settings, and, if you activate Pro, your license key and its last check result. All of this is kept in your browser's extension storage. You can erase it in the extension's Data tab or by removing the extension.

What is sent to us

Only if you activate Pro: your license key is sent over HTTPS to our license service (api.schatulle.app) to check whether it is active. The check repeats at most once every 24 hours while a key is stored. Our service and its hosting provider (Cloudflare) process technical connection data such as your IP address and the time of the request to deliver the response. To answer the check, our license service looks up your subscription status and passes the key to Dodo Payments' license validation service. Our service stores, from signed payment notifications sent by Dodo Payments, the email address used at purchase, the subscription ID, its status and its renewal date, in a Cloudflare database. This is used only to provide and support Pro. Users who do not enter a key send nothing.

Payments

Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. Dodo collects your email address, payment details and billing information on its own checkout page, under its own privacy policy. Rowpost never sees your card details.

What we do not do

• No analytics, advertising or tracking inside the extension
• No sale or sharing of user data
• No use of data for purposes unrelated to Rowpost's single purpose
• No remote code: all code is packaged with the extension

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can erase local data at any time, remove the extension, or cancel Pro with Dodo Payments. For questions or requests about the license check data, write to the address above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
